Head of Chambers, The Right Honourable Sir Geoffrey Cox QC MP, is knighted

We are delighted to congratulate our Head of Chambers, the Right Honourable Sir Geoffrey Cox QC MP, on being awarded a knighthood in the New Year’s Honours List 2021.

Sir Geoffrey receives this accolade for his distinguished service as Her Majesty’s Attorney General for England and Wales, marked by his commitment both to the rule of law and to the profession. He is a much respected and long-standing Head of Chambers, whose dedication to the highest standards of the Bar has been a source of great pride to its members.

He returned to successful international private practice in Thomas More Chambers during 2020. We congratulate Sir Geoffrey, and his wife, Jeanie, Lady Cox, who is also a former member of Chambers, on this very well-deserved honour.
