Alexander joined Thomas More Chambers as a third six pupil this year. He is often instructed in civil and family work and welcomes instructions in all of chambers’ practice areas. Alexander previously fought small claims and credit hire cases as a Court Advocate and lectured on Viking Cruises as the Resident Historian.
Alexander is a registered public access practitioner, and clients can instruct him directly.
Civil & Commercial:
Alexander’s civil work includes landlord & tenant matters, small commercial claims and claims arising under the Consumer Credit Act. He can advise on quantum, Inheritance Act claims and matters arising under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act (TOLATA).
Alexander has been instructed in fast track personal injury trials as well as Stage 3 Hearings. He has successfully rebuffed attempts to disapply QOCs and protected his clients from accusations of fundamental dishonesty.
Alexander regularly appears in the Family Court, representing clients in child arrangement matters and bringing injunctions, such as non-molestation and occupation orders. He prides himself on giving frank and honest advice in conferences while prioritising client objectives.
Alexander has a track record of prosecuting and defending cases in trials concerning driving offences, assault, theft and harassment. He frequently obtains injunctions, including domestic violence protection orders, and has represented clients in appeals at the Crown Court.
